C/S Acrovyn® Door Edge Protection
Features:
- Door edge protection channels are made from 2mm or 1.5mm thick Acrovyn Sheet and must be recess mounted into door edge/s
- Square or round edge channels can be supplied
- Where plates are required to protect door faces, we can supply either:
- Bevelled edge plates for overlapping the door edge protector channels on the door faces
- or
- Square edge plates for butting to door edge protector channels on rebated door face
- Door edge protection channels and plates can be manufactured to specific height requirements

Note: Due to thickness of sheet, it is recommended that plates are fitted between the door stops on the push side of the door.
Guide to Ordering Door Edge Protection
Square edge channels are produced to specific sizes using line bending. Finished bend achieved is pencil round on outside bends.
Please note the thickness of Acrovyn Sheet should be taken into account in calculation of channel and angle sizes. Please provide internal dimensions required, as shown on the drawing.
Round edge channels are produced using our thermoforming equipment and customer supplied tool.
The tool should be made of blemish free MDF or hardwood material and supplied to internal dimensions of required finished product, but oversized to allow an extra 50mm per edge and ideally 400mm (min. 200mm) in length for trimming.
