Optegra, a leading eye health care provider has recently opened its newest hospital in the Harley Street district of London. Optegra operates seven dedicated eye hospitals across the UK, providing pioneering ophthalmic treatment plans tailored to its patients’ needs.
Each of Optegra’s seven facilities is meticulously designed with the patient in mind, providing a modern, calm and comfortable environment. Their new facility in London is no exception.
Designers IBI Group placed particular importance on the quality and durability of surface finishes, wanting to ensure that Optegra’s welcoming environment was easy to keep clean and maintain, so they turned to CS for help.
High Performance Doors
Interior doorsets in operating theatre corridors were identified as a typically vulnerable building component – due to the high risk of damage from trolley and bed movement – so IBI Group chose CS’ high performance, fully encapsulated Acrovyn Doors, finished in a bold colour (879 – Dusty Jade) and in a range of bespoke configurations. For a complete, robust solution, door frames were also clad in Acrovyn.
CS’ Acrovyn Doors and Frames are designed to stand up to extensive daily wear and tear, utilising the tried and tested Acrovyn impact resistant covering for increased performance and extended lifecycle. This made them the perfect choice for Optegra, who needed a strong and easy to maintain doorset, that was in keeping with their clean, modern aesthetic.
CS are a BM TRADA Q-Mark certified door manufacturer, so for added peace of mind, the FD30S and FD60S fire rated doors came with Q-Mark Certification – one of the most rigorous certification processes available for construction products – proving that the doors are manufactured to the highest quality and will perform in the event of a fire.
