Ventilation Louvres
World class ventilation louvres offering superior performance and spacial efficiency, backed up by more than 60 years global experience and a dedicated team of ventilation louvre specialists.
With CS Louvres you can be sure that no matter what your building’s ventilation, screening or weather protection needs, there is a solution to suit.
My priority is:
Rain Defence
Rain Defence louvres are designed to stop wind-driven rain entering a building, whilst still allowing efficient passage of air for natural ventilation.
Airflow
Ventilation louvres offering good airflow with some rain defence, for use in areas where occasional water ingress is not a major concern.
Screening
Screening louvres hide unsightly equipment whilst providing essential airflow to plant and HVAC machinery.

The main objective of Weather Louvres is to allow the passage of air, whilst providing the area beyond the room with protection from rain penetration. When specifying weather louvres we recommend comparing the airflow class and the level of rain defence provided by the louvre. Our CS RS-5605 weather louvre offers the best combination of airflow, rain defence and spatial efficiency of any product on the market.
A standard ventilation louvre will provide the maximum airflow required with minimal rain defence. These louvres tend to be preferred for projects where economy is the primary consideration, high free area is important and occasional water penetration will not cause significant problems. When specifying a standard ventilation louvre we recommend looking at the blade spacing and the free area provided by the louvre.
Screening louvres are generally used in locations where rain penetration is acceptable or the location is sheltered from adverse weather conditions as they generally offer a poor level of weather performance. Often used on the top of buildings to conceal HVAC systems, screening louvres help to hide unsightly equipment whilst providing passage of air to plant machinery. For optimal screening performance its worth remembering that screening louvres can be turned upside down to better screen plant machinery when viewed from below.
